What is involved in fitting frameless glass partitions in Somerset?
Work in Somerset is planned around your business. We agree delivery times, lifting routes for large glass and any out-of-hours work at survey, and we protect floors and furniture while we fit.
Is frameless glass partitions right for your Somerset office?
Butt-jointed toughened glass with no vertical frames, for the clearest possible view across a floor. It is usually chosen for:
- Meeting rooms and boardrooms off an open-plan floor
- Reception and lift-lobby screens
- Offices that need to keep borrowed daylight deep into the plan
What does it cost in Somerset?
As an example, a glass wall across an open floor of 8 m at 2.8 m high in Somerset is about 22.4 m² of glass, so roughly £6,700 to £10,100 ex VAT before doors and options. The price tool gives a range for your own sizes, and the free survey turns it into a fixed price.
Offices and buildings in Somerset
The South West takes in city-centre offices in Bristol and Exeter, business parks along the M4 and M5, and a large stock of period and stone buildings where uneven floors favour framed systems. We take these conditions into account when choosing between framed and frameless systems.
Surveys are usually booked within a week of your enquiry.
Questions about frameless glass partitions in Somerset
How long does a glass partition project take in Somerset?
Usually three to seven weeks from enquiry to handover, depending on the glass. Time on site in Somerset is normally one to three days for a meeting room or office.
Do you install frameless glass partitions in Somerset?
Yes. We survey and install across Somerset, including Bath, Taunton, Weston-super-Mare and Yeovil. Surveys are usually booked within a week of your enquiry.
Do I need landlord consent for glass partitions in Somerset?
If you lease your office, almost certainly. We provide the drawings, product data and method statements most landlords in Somerset ask for.
Are frameless glass partitions safe?
Yes. Every panel is toughened or laminated safety glass that meets the impact classes in BS EN 12600, and Approved Document K manifestation is applied so the glass is clearly visible. Toughened glass breaks into small blunt pieces; laminated glass stays in place if it cracks.
