What we collect
When you send an enquiry, use the price tool, chat or message us, we collect the details you give us: name, company, phone, email, site postcode, details of your project and any files or photos you send. We also record which page the enquiry came from.
Why we use it
To reply to your enquiry, arrange a survey, prepare a quote and carry out any work you order. The lawful basis is taking steps at your request before entering a contract, and our legitimate interest in running and improving our business. We do not sell your data.
Who we share it with
Our form provider (Web3Forms) delivers enquiries to our inbox; our live chat provider (Tawk.to) processes chat messages; WhatsApp processes messages you send through it. Where a project goes ahead, we may share necessary details with group companies, installers and suppliers working on your job. Some providers may process data outside the UK under appropriate safeguards.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not lead to work are deleted after 24 months. Customer records are kept for six years after the work for accounting and warranty purposes.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct or delete it, object to its use or ask us to restrict it. Contact us using the details above. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
