What is involved in fitting frameless glass partitions in Dorset?
A typical project in Dorset starts with a floor plan or a few photos. We reply with a guide price, visit to measure and check the floor, ceiling and fixings, then send drawings and a fixed quote. Once you approve, the glass is made to size and fitted, usually in one to three days on site.
Is frameless glass partitions right for your Dorset office?
Butt-jointed toughened glass with no vertical frames, for the clearest possible view across a floor. It is usually chosen for:
- Offices that need to keep borrowed daylight deep into the plan
- Meeting rooms and boardrooms off an open-plan floor
- Reception and lift-lobby screens
What does it cost in Dorset?
As an example, a single glass office front of 4.5 m at 2.7 m high in Dorset is about 12.2 m² of glass, so roughly £3,650 to £5,450 ex VAT before doors and options. The price tool gives a range for your own sizes, and the free survey turns it into a fixed price.
Offices and buildings in Dorset
The South West takes in city-centre offices in Bristol and Exeter, business parks along the M4 and M5, and a large stock of period and stone buildings where uneven floors favour framed systems. Whatever the building, the survey checks what the head and floor channels will fix to before we specify anything.
Surveys are usually booked within a week of your enquiry.
Questions about frameless glass partitions in Dorset
How long does a glass partition project take in Dorset?
Usually three to seven weeks from enquiry to handover, depending on the glass. Time on site in Dorset is normally one to three days for a meeting room or office.
How much do frameless glass partitions cost in Dorset?
Guide prices in Dorset are the same as elsewhere: £300 to £450 per m², ex VAT. Access, parking and out-of-hours working can add a little, which the survey confirms before you get a fixed price.
Can you work outside office hours in Dorset?
Yes. Evening and weekend installation can be arranged for occupied offices in Dorset, and is quoted up front.
Are frameless glass partitions safe?
Yes. Every panel is toughened or laminated safety glass that meets the impact classes in BS EN 12600, and Approved Document K manifestation is applied so the glass is clearly visible. Toughened glass breaks into small blunt pieces; laminated glass stays in place if it cracks.
